Almost just one year before GMA's term is about to expire, lawmakers are pushing charter change once more. People are speculating that Malacaņang is behind all these to make a last ditch effort to stay in power. Endorsers of this move, however, maintained that the change is just confined to economic provisions. A lot of Filipinos doesn't seem to believe so. They took the streets to make their sentiments heard about the charter that needs no changing and the president that should relinquish power by 2010. |
