The second big unified opposition rally in the heart of Makati. As usual, I came late. It was almost dusk and the available natural light is fading. I brought with me my old Pentax ME Super film camera and a digital point and shoot backup. I managed to shoot all the film frames thus leaving me a few time to use the digital camera. (Mostly blurred due to the fading light). The number of participant in this mobilization was almost similar to the last time they did this kind of thing here (December 2008). I was expecting it to multiply many times higher but it didn't. Anyway, the event was mainly peaceful and, though a little disappointed, I still hope, next time, more people can be "physically" present than mere moral support and internet rants. |
