Sto. Niņo Festival 2009 (or some sort of). I'm sorry if this is not the correct event name. I honestly don't know what it's called because I just accidentally witnessed it and didn't know that there was such an event in the first place. Actually, I went to Luneta to see what's showing in the "Concert at the Park" public theater. There was none. (Which was a little strange because I really think they exhibit something every Sunday). Anyway, as I walk to the area of the Grandstand I see lights, loads of people, assorted rhythmic sounds of percussion instruments and yes, Sto. Niņos in a variety of costumes and sizes. A real joyous merrymaking with groups of dancing performers and showcase of talents. I was never able to finish the event because I was a bit hungry and tired after shooting for a while. Besides that, it was quite late. So, I decided to just go home and call it a day. Viva Sto. Niņo! |
